How can joining a church really change my life?

Five years ago a friend invited me to come to church with him. Ever since my first visit to Victory Temple, my life has never been the same. I was very confused and overwhelmed about many things, joined a new believers class, now called class 101, where I truly gave my life to the Lord. Over a relatively short amount of time the Lord delivered me from drinking, smoking marijuana and a multitude of sins. The Lord also taught me how to rely on him and not men. As I learned to walk in His ways and He began giving me peace, self-control, confidence and joy that I never had before. That faithful friend that invited me to church ended up becoming the husband of my dreams and God has blessed us with a beautiful baby girl, Julieann. Through this ministry we have been taught biblical principles that have changed our lives. We are living proof that the Lord can do all things through Christ Jesus.
