SOLOMONS PORCH: A group for college age young adults from 18 – 26. This group helps to address and teach young adults to deal with the specific issues facing this age group. They meet bi-weekly and help to support by organizing activity events, outreach and potlucks.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – ADULT: Teaching bible lessons for adults.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - ELEMENTARY: Bible learning classes of 1st-6th grades that include games, discussions of Bible stories and characters with applications to practical living.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - TEEN: Teaching bible lessons for junior high to high school ages.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – ATTENDANCE/FINANCE: Records attendance and offering contributions for all Sunday School classes.
SUPPORT MINISTRY: Calls regular attenders, asking for comments, prayer requests, or family needs to share with Pastor Hopkins, First Lady Hopkins or other staff. They record the comments, etc., and forward to appropriate staff for review or follow-up. This group also comes to the church on a needs to basis for special projects.
TAPE/VIDEO: This ministry records, copies and packages all the audio visual CDs and DVDs of sermon messages or special events.
TRAFFIC CONTROL: This ministry helps people to have a positive experience at church by helping cars flow smoothly into and out of the parking lot on Sundays between services.
TRANSPORTATION: A team of van drivers who drive the church van(s) to pick up homeless guest and those in need of transportation to and from the Sunday morning worship service.
USHER: The welcoming team that assists people into the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the service in general, and assisting people where needed.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY: This team helps to organize fellowships, and contact women weekly within in the ministry for prayer, concerns and support.
YOUTH MINISTRY: This team helps to organize weekly activities, special events and teach weekly bible lessons for elementary to senior high students.
